This fun, activity-packed family event will prepare and educate you about how Police, Fire, and Ambulance Personnel respond to emergencies, and HOW YOU can respond to emergency situations and keep your family safe!
Get Prepared Parkland (previously Emergency Preparedness Day) was created with the spirit of cooperation, and education by the Townships of North Whitehall, South Whitehall & Upper Macungie. The goal was to teach residents how Police, Ambulance and Fire Personnel respond when disasters strike, and have fun at the same time.

THE MISSION OF GET PREPARED PARKLAND:
Utilizing FUN and EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, the mission of this event is to educate individuals how Police, Ambulance and Fire Personnel respond when disasters strike. Sponsors and participating organizations generously gave out many free items to better prepare residents for emergencies such as; flashlights, protective gear, food, water and much more. Fun activities included; Inflatable Rides, EMS/Fire/Police Equipment Displays, demonstrations, exhibits, entertainment.
