Upper Macungie Township has partnered with Wildlands Conservancy to offer individuals and families to partake in a variety of unique experiences to explore nature and wildlife. Only $5 per participant for residents and $10 per participant for non-residents. All programs will take place at Lone Lane Park. Check out our monthly offerings below!

(2/21) Snowshoeing & Hot Chocolate 

Join us for an Intro to Snowshoeing class and winter hike! If there is no snow, you will still have the opportunity to try on snowshoes to get the feel of them in the grass. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate from Tom’s Travelin Coffee after your hike along the trail.

(3/21) Fossil Exploration & Modern Dinosaurs 

Travel back in time and uncover the secrets of the prehistoric world! Join the Wildlands Conservancy for a live animal show featuring today’s “modern dinosaurs”—you’ll be amazed at how some creatures haven’t changed much since ancient times. Then, dig into the past with a hands-on fossil exploration where young paleontologists can touch, examine, and learn about real fossils
