Foundation As-Built
A survey plan of your property sealed by professional surveyor or engineer, after the foundation was poured and shows:

  • Foundation distance from property lines
  • Setback requirements
  • Easements
  • Right-of-ways
  • Wetlands
  • Floodplains

If your home was constructed after 1995, we should have a foundation as-built for your property. We require that you use this plan to show all new buildings, additions and structures. Click here to view the form: Foundation As-Built

Driveway Permits
Driveway permits are required for all new driveways, except for new residential, commerical and industrial construction; the permit is included in the price of the building permit. A permit is required if you are paving or concreting your driveway for the first time or removing existing asphalt or concrete and replacing it.

A site plan drawn to scale must accompany the application showing property lines and proposed and/or existing buildings and other structures. Residential driveways must be five (5’) feet from the property lines. Residential driveways also require a minimum and maximum width of ten (10’) and twenty (20’), respectively and shall intersect streets at angles of not less than sixty (60) degrees. All other driveways shall intersect at right angles, where practicable, and in no case less than seventy-five (75) degrees. Residential driveway grades shall not exceed ten (10%) percent and when access is to a collector or local road, a twenty (20’) feet leveling area is required from the edge of the street cartway in which grade shall not exceed five (5%) percent.
