NEW BULK ITEM CHANGE FOR 2013
As of 2013 Upper Macungie Township residents DO NOT NEED to call Waste Management for a single (one) bulk item pick up for the week at no charge. Our refuse/recycling newsletter is not correct. It was printed before UMT got the clarification on bulk item pick up.
Therefore, residents can put their one bulk item out about 2 to 3 feet from their cart and do not need call Waste Management or UMT.
However, this is not for the white goods item (e.g. freezers, refrigerators, etc.) You still call to schedule the white goods item pickup.

Did you know that Upper Macungie Township Authority has it’s own phone number? Please call (610) 398-9171 for sewer, recycling, refuse containers and authority bills.
Waste Management is our new trash collector. All complaints or missed pickups should be directed to Waste Management at 1-800-869-5566.
