Looking to rent a pavilion or indoor space for your event? Upper Macungie Township is blessed with a wealth of beautiful park lands and we welcome you to enjoy them! Our pavilions can be reserved April through October (no restroom facilities during other months). Reservations will only be taken starting January for the current calendar year. Opening date for 2015 was Friday, January 2, 2015. Independent Park is our indoor facility beautifully suited for any occasion. Check them out!
Upper Macungie Township has a number of staffed by township resident volunteers. There is often a need for new members for these positions. If you are interested in serving your community, please submit your resume and the Volunteer Application to Kathy Rader at Upper Macungie Township

ANNOUNCEMENT: The tax collector’s office has moved!
Beginning June 18, 2015 tax payments will only be accepted at the sewer and refuse entrance of the Township building. This entrance is the last entrance on the right-hand side of the Township building. Signs will be posted.

New for 2015, a second pavilion was added at Grange Park. Future development includes a total of four pavilions. The current pavilion is No. 3 and the new pavilion is No. 4.

Upper Macungie Township’s Samir “Sam” P. Ashmar, Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors died suddenly Thursday evening, November 20, 2014. Administration and staff wish to extend their deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy.
Sam Ashmar was a great leader, an exceptional man, a devoted husband and father, a dedicated Fire Marshal and a true friend to many. Our prayers are with the family, his beloved wife Sharon, cherished children, Makala and Joshua as well Station 56 and the entire Upper Macungie Township community. Our admiration for his many accomplishments is enduring. We all will miss you dearly and thank you for your service to our Township. Rest well our friend.

Our Dog Parks are enter at your own risk.
Due to the popularity of RT 100 Dog Park and excessive wear and tear, the large fenced area is closed. Currently, only the small fenced area is open to all dogs.
We are also in the planning stages of opening another Dog Park at Grange Park to meet the needs of the growing demand.
