Collection Information
| As of 6/20/2005,
Raritan Valley Disposal will no longer pick up grass clippings
or yard waste at curbside. This is because the landfills
will no longer take grass or yard waste. The contract
with Raritan Valley never included yard waste. Please
bring your grass and yard waste to the Township drop off
site on Grim Road. Check the hours of the drop off site
on the Public Works Yard Waste Drop Off Site page. |

As of January 1, 2007, Raritan Valley Disposal is our Trash Hauler and Recycler. The Township is divided into collection zones. You will be notified regarding which zone you are in. Please put your trash and recyclables out the night before your pick up day, after 7:00 PM. Newspapers should be recycled in a brown paper bag or bundled. Please put newspapers out for pick up in good weather only. Newspapers or ANY paper... do NOT wrap in plastic. Magazines, junk mail and cereal boxes with the liners removed can be bundled together. Cardboard must flattened and bundled
in pieces no larger than 2' by 4', otherwise it will be landfilled
and not recycled. NO LOOSE TRASH will be accepted!
There is also a $50 BULK sticker available which is especially helpful during spring cleaning or moving in or out of the Township. If you have any problems with Trash collection, please call Raritan Valley Disposal at (610) 432-7574.
2008 Holiday Trash Pick-ups:
Due to the following holidays, trash collection will resume one
day later:
January 1, 2008 - New Years Day
May 26, 2008 - Memorial Day
July 4th, 2008 - Independence Day
September 1, 2008 - Labor Day
November 27, 2008 - Thanksgiving
December 25, 2008 - Christmas
