Golf— Free pitch-and-putt 9 hole golf course where you can play FREE OF CHARGE dawn till dusk!

The National Recreation and Parks Association in partnership with the Golf Builders Association of America selected Upper Macungie Township to participate in the Sticks for Kids Program.  Find out how your child can play golf for FREE!

Current Detour:

Schantz Road in Upper Macungie Township is scheduled to be closed on April 7, 2014 between Arrowhead Lane/Twin Ponds to Adams Road/Tillage Road. The PennDOT road project has an anticipated completion date in July 2015 and will involve the removal of the “S-curve”.  The posted detour will use Route 100 and Route 222.  This will make for a very challenging 15 months.

DETOUR TO INDEPENDENT PARK
We were just informed that PennDot will be closing down part of Schantz Road (between Arrowhead Lane/Twin Ponds to Adams Road/Tillage Road) from April 7, 2014 to July 2015.  Your guests will need to use either Route 78 or Rt 222/Hamilton Blvd Bypass. Click here for the detour map.

Normal Directions: From Route 78, take exit 49A (Rt 100 S) and proceed 8/10 of a mile, then turn right onto Schantz Road.  Proceed 3.5 miles, then turn right onto PA 863N/Independent Road.  Facility (150 Independent Road) will be next property on the left (look for the windmill).
