Within the Public Works Dept. Upper Macungie Township is currently seeking qualified full-time candidates for this position. This position is responsible for the preventative maintenance and repair work on all township owned vehicles and other power driven equipment, as well as PA state inspections. Desired minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, specialized training in automotive and mechanic repair work, two (2) years’ experience in maintenance and repair, possess a PA Class B CDL and PA State Inspectors License. Must have a good driving record. Required to work in all types of weather. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. & perform strenuous and repetitive work. Applicants will be required to submit to pre-employment screening; criminal records, child abuse clearance check, as well as post-offer physical with drug screening.
