Just as is done with charitable events such as the Toys for Tots campaign and our annual coat drive, the Upper Macungie Township Police Department (UMTPD) is collecting donations for the Puerto Rico Relief Fund to support communities in Puerto Rico after the devastating effects of Hurricane Maria.
All donations will be collected and delivered to United for Puerto Rico/Unidos por Puerto Rico, an organization comprised of Puerto Rican Leaders who assembled to develop a concerted, grassroots effort to support the Island of Puerto Rico’s immediate needs. The group has guaranteed that 100% of the funds will be allocated for Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief Efforts. A free concert, to benefit this event, will be held at the Levitt Pavilion at SteelStacks on Saturday November 5, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.

Notice: Lehigh County Authority (LCA) has begun a flushing program for the summer of 2017. They will be notifying residents the Friday before they commence flushing for the following week. Please visit the LCA website concerning the program, what to expect and a system map outlining the area they will be in that week. The flushing program will be 7am to 5pm, Monday through Thursday and lasting for about 7 weeks, weather depending. Please contact LCA at 610-398-2503 if you have any questions.

PAVILION RENTAL & INDEPENDENT PARK RENTAL
Looking to rent a Pavilion or Independent Park (indoor facility) for your event? Upper Macungie Township is blessed with a wealth of beautiful park lands and we welcome you to enjoy them!
Our pavilions can be reserved April through October (no restroom facilities during other months). Reservations will only be taken starting January for the current calendar year. Opening date for 2015 was Friday, January 2, 2015. Independent Park is our indoor facility beautifully suited for any occasion. Reservations for Independent Park can be made two years in advance Check them out!
